The Boat Maintenance System - BMS
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Boat Management System (BMS) is a leading indicator on how and why boat maintenance complexity might impact quality outcomes.
The BMS report provides boat owners (including shared ownership) an evidence based report explaining how, why and where maintenance requirements exist, an estimate of the $ cost of maintenance and suggested solutions. Boat owners choose specific solutions to support their individual maintenance journey and quality outcomes. Measuring boat maintenance quality at a granular level helps boat owners make accurate and timely decisions and reduces risks and hazards.
The Boat Management System (BMS) measures the overall health of 22 specific boat systems and all their components (upward of 350) to identify the level of health of each system and the need for maintenance, replacement or repair. The system contains all boat BMS results aggregated and analysed across the 22 specific dimensions. This is effectively a boat management and maintenance tool measuring quality maintenance levels with comparison against the BMS benchmark.
Results are easily accessible and track changes over time. Boat owners can download an individual report with their results. The results also roll up into an easy to see dashboard on the first screen on your app.
The Boat Maintenance System (BMS) is also a measurement tool rated on a scale which provides a total score to identify a requirements across key dimensions of cost efficiency, performance, safety, quality and boat owner satisfaction.
